16.1 Boys Make Finals
30/01/2014

The Under 16.1 Boys, coached by Ryan Denman, had a strong weekend, making finals on the back of an undefeated run through the pool games. Ben Richards sent us this report of the weekend:

The U16.1 team vanquished all opposition with a five game winning streak in the Eltham Tournament playoffs but alas fell to fourth placed Casey in the semi final.

Sam Johnson was struck down with an injured ankle.

All of the games were very close, reflecting the quality of the competition and the skills of our team.

Every player deserves accolades but special mention goes to new recruit and rookie Kuany Kuany for the strong start, and David's dad Novak for all the scoring. Big thanks to club management for showing their support and advice during the tournament.
