WBA thanks two outstanding contributors

As 2019 draws to a close WBA is saying farewell to two of our finest contributors.

There is no doubting that Patricia Nagle and Mary Purton have both played a massive role in helping make the association what it is today.

Patricia has given 39 years of fantastic service to the association, best known for her work as an elite level scoretable official and dedicated cashier member.

Mary has given 36 years of service to the association, now best known for her work as team leader in the canteen, and the association's unfirom manager in the early years of the Falcons program.

Both Patricia and Mary have been awarded WBA Life Membership, and both hold Basketball Victoria 35-year Dedicated Service Awards.

It is not possible to summarise in this space the importance of each of their contributions, and WBA's level of gratitude to Patricia and Mary knows no bounds. We wish them the very best for the future and look forward to welcoming them back to the stadium any time they wish to visit.
