NBL1 & BigV Falcons

Falcons roll through practice matches as season nears
13/03/2019

The Falcons are heading into the first ever NBL1 season full of momentum after a successful series of pre-season hitouts.

Both the Falcons Men and Women have recorded wins against a range of Big V State Championship and NBL1 opponents.

Although nobody doubts that it will be a different level of competition once the regular season gets underway, the signs are all positive for both teams ahead of the season tipoff on March 29.

The Falcons will need to be ready as well, with their first round in the new league a tough double header, at Frankston on Saturday March 30 before hosting their first ever home NBL1 Double Header against Albury-Wodonga on March 31, both former SEABL clubs with impressive playing rosters.

League news, schedules and information can be found at the league's website www.nbl1.com.au.
