Two of our Junior Falcons teams have qualified for the prestigious National Junior Classic tournament on Queen's Birthday weekend.

The Under 14 Girls, coached by Elias Palioyiannis and Under 18 Boys, coached by Eric Minerve, have both qualified after their performances in the first nine rounds of the Victorian Championship competition.

The tournament features the best eight teams from Victoria, as well as the top four teams from SA and four from NSW/ACT. Teams play three pool games before competing in finals for spots 1-8, or placement games for places 9-16.

The first Falcons team to qualify for the Classic was the Under 16 Boys in 2004, since then the Falcons have won Gold Medals in both Under 16 and Under 18 Boys, including last year.

The Under 14 Classic is held at MSAC, while the Under 18s are at Frankston. Fixtures will be posted later this week.
