Boomers in Beijing
Waverley Basketball would like to wish two former Falcon players all the best as they play for the ‘Boomers’ in the Beijing Olympics. The Australian Men’s’ team were defeated by Croatia in their first clash of the games, and will come up against reigning Olympic champions Argentina tonight. David Barlow and Andrew Bogut both played for the Waverley Falcons as juniors, and have since both had remarkable basketball careers. Fans in Australia will be on the edge of their seats this evening, and will continue to support you through your Olympic journey.
