The Falcons Community gathered at the stadium on Sunday September 22 to celebrate a very successful 2013 season.

Despite the laid back Sunday Morning setting, crowds flocked to the Nest with in excess of 400 people turning out for the event. Organiser and host Shane Palmer was delighted with the turn out, and tuned in his best speaker voice as he welcomed everyone and introduced General Manager and MC for the day Mike Bullock.

Basketball freestyler Samuele Fumei dazzled the crowd with his showstopping Basketball skills, juggling up to four Basketballs at once, spinning Basketballs on top of other Basketballs and doing some other crazy stuff. Simply put, he was awesome.

The award winners all got their moment during the day and it was great to see so many award winners at the event.

At the conclusion of the awards we fired the BBQ up and the snags sizzled. It was a great afternoon and a wonderful way to see off an enjoyable season.
