The Under 14.3 Boys were the only boys team from Waverley to head over to Adelaide for the Easter tournament, but they certainly made a weekend of it, writes Coach Mike Saba:

The Boys U14.3 team had a huge weekend in Adelaide, with some on court success but more importantly a great bonding time and a chance to try out some new offense and defence plays. Playing in the A grade level saw a mixed level of opponents, with the boys able to rise and match teams playing in higher VJBL levels, but just falling short in the final quarter, however winning against sides at similar levels. With nine players making the trip, the six games gave good playing time and some success in upping our defensive tempo and trying new offensive moves. A highlight was playing several games on centre court at the Adelaide Arena, whilst staying at Glenelg beach also had its attractions!
