MOLTEN AND BIG V ANNOUNCE SIX FIGURE DEAL

Big V is excited to announce a new partnership agreement with Madison Sport (Molten) spanning the next 4 years in a cash and contra deal worth six figures.

Molten’s longest standing basketball partnership will go to the next level with this widely respected supplier not only continuing to be Big V’s official basketball partner, but in addition, receiving recognition as the naming rights sponsor of the newly formed Victorian Youth Championship competitions.

Big V CEO Raelene Whitten believes the agreement with Molten is a massive coup not just for the league, but also for the sport as a whole.

“Say ‘basketballs’ and the first name that comes to mind is Molten”.

“The popular 12 panel, or ‘hot cross bun ball’, as it’s commonly referred to is an icon of the sport in this State, and it’s not by accident that it’s the players first choice.

“Most athletes competing in the Victorian Youth Championship will have grown up with a Molten in their hand, so it makes sense that the best players the State has to offer should compete with the best product on the market”, said Whitten.

Madison Sport’s Sales Manager Dave Fletcher was equally ecstatic about furthering Molten’s alliance with Big V.
“Molten sees a fantastic future with the Big V and is proud to be aligned with the biggest and one of the strongest leagues in Australia”, said Fletcher.

“The best youth in the state deserve the best ball. We see the Victorian Youth Championship as the future of Australian basketball and we want to support it as much as possible.”

Molten has become synonymous with basketball and Big V believes the long-standing partnership with Molten has played a key role in achieving this.

“Big V’s relationship with Molten began back in the year 2000, and were, in fact, one of the original corporate partners of the league”, said Whitten.

“Throughout the past 13 years this relationship has gone from strength to strength, and when we began looking for corporate support for the newly formed Victorian Youth Championship, Molten was the obvious choice.

“I’d like to thank Molten for their past, present and future support of not only Big V, but also the sport as a whole.”
Round one of the Molten Victorian Youth Championship will launch at the Big V Pre-season held at Frankston Basketball Stadium during the Labour Day long weekend.
