State Selection for Falcons Duo
Following 4 months of Tryout and Training Sessions, two current Falcons Under 18 players have recently been selected in the Vic Metro Under 18 State Men’s Team.
Fraser Pearce and Lachlan Anthony received the good news on Saturday and now look forward to preparing for the National Championships which are to be held in Brisbane from the 20th to 27th of April. With 120 players attending the first Tryout Session, the recent announcement is not only great news for Fraser and Lachlan but is also a feather in the cap for the Waverley Basketball Association. As part of the selection process, Fraser and Lachlan recently returned from the East Coast Challenge held in Sydney in early January with both players performing well which enhanced their selection. Falcons Under 18(2) Girl’s Coach Mark Sainsbery will also be heading to Brisbane with Fraser and Lachlan as Team Manager of the Vic Metro Team.
