The Under 14.4 Boys were too strong all the way to the Grand Final and a premiership in the Eltham Dandenong Tournament. We received this recap of the weekend from Assistant Coach George Papadopoulos.
After a long summer break, the Eltham Dandenong Junior Basketball Tournament for 2013 was a fantastic way to start off the year for the Waverley Falcons 14.4 Boys team in the Under 14 C Boys Division.
The team remained undefeated throughout the entire tournament and won all their games, including their grand final against Collingwood (3) with the final score being 33:17. Well done to all the boys for their great efforts and for a thoroughly deserved victory!! Coached by George Papadopoulos and Fabian Galgani the boys played magnificently.
Thanks to all the parents, players and organisers for an enjoyable tournament. Hopefully the 14.4 Waverley Falcons Boys' form continues throughout the year.
