Junior Falcons Coach and VIc Metro Team Manager Mark Sainsbury has updated us on the progress of some of the Falcons Boys who attended Under 18 Vic Metro Trials:

Waverley Quintet selected for East Coast Challenge

Promising Waverley juniors Deng Adel, Fraser Pearce, Matt McCarthy, Lachlan Anthony and Deng Kuany have been selected to represent Victoria at the East Coast Challenge in Sydney. These five players make up a squad of 22 who will contest the ECC in early January 2013. At the completion of this Tournament, the Vic Metro Under 18 Men's State Team will be selected from this squad. The State Team will then compete at the National Junior Championships which will be held in Brisbane in April next year and it is hoped that Waverley will have a strong representation within this team.

Waverley U/18 (2) Girls Coach Mark Sainsbery has been appointed to the Team Manager position for ECC and the National Championships.
