The Waverley Falcons 2012 Presentation Night saw the largest single gathering of Falcons families and personalities for the entire Basketball year.

Over 450 people converged on the Falcon Nest for a spectaular night of awards, videos, music and plenty of laughs.

The breathtaking movies created by Shane Palmer captivated the audience, while our favourite MC Ben Maloney was just superb, keeping the crowd entertained all throughout the night.

A new addition to this year's festivities was the catering provided by The Corner Deli in Ashburton, which complimented the bar stock from Liquorcorp Bulleen.

The night would not have run as smoothly without the help of a range of generous volunteers, who helped in the kitchen, the bar, the soft drink stand, out on stage, and anywhere that help was needed. Like any junior sporting organisation, volunteers are the lifeblood of our club, and events like this would not be possible without their help.

The Silent Auction was also a success, with special thanks going to those who donated items and assisted the the running of the auction. As the only Falcons fundraiser for the year, the support for the Silent Auction was greatly appreciated.

The WBA would like the thank everyone who came out and supported the event. Congratulations to those who took home awards but remember, success is fleeting, we'll be back up and running at tryouts starting on October 7.
