The Waverley Men's Melbourne Metropolitan Basketball League team have made it through to the Grand Final after a tough Preliminary Final win.

The MMBL is a Wednesday Night representative league, continuing the legacy of the old VBA competition.

The Waverley team includes former Falcons Big V player and current Championship Women coach Elias Palioyiannis, USA College returnee Dean Neville and former Big V Youth League MVP Andrew Kelly.

The Falcons will take on Collingwood next Wednesday Night at the Falcon Nest, hoping to reverse their overtime loss to Collingwood two weeks ago.
