Waverley Falcons have appointed Eric Minerve to act as Head Coach of the Division 1 Big V Youth League men’s team for 2013 and 2014. This role will fit well with Eric’s appointment also of Coaching Director for the Waverley junior boys program for the same period.
General Manager Mike Bullock commented that with the continued success of our junior boys program which Eric has be taking care of in previous seasons, the flow to continue boys from under 18 through 20’s to the Youth League would create continuity of the program.
The appointment also continues Waverley Basketball Association policy on more responsibility being placed with young coaches, referees and staff within the organization. Sedale Threat Senior has done a great job with the Youth league this season in helping our boys prepare for the period ahead of us.
