The Waverley Falcons are pleased to announce the appointment of their women’s coaches for the 2013 Big V season.

Elias Palyioiannis will again head up the Falcons Women’s program as both Head Coach of the State Championship team and as of Junior Director of Coaching for the Falcons girls. Stephanie Groom has also been reappointed Head Coach of the Falcons State Youth Championship 1 Women’s team.

General Manager at Waverley Mike Bullock is very pleased with the clubs decision to fast track their young players in the system. “We have only one player in the current two senior teams that cannot play in Youth League because of age restrictions. For such a young team at State Championship level to have had 3 wins, and 7 losses by less than 9 points it has been a good performance by the girls.”

All current players are expected to return next season with 4 girls going to College and returning to play in late April early May. The Falcons will recruit two players that will assist these young squads as they develop.

The Waverley players going to college are Danni Pisano (Lindwood University- Belleville), Taylor Dickinson, (Pennsylvania State University), Georgia Stirto (North Idaho College) and Georgia Smart (Seminole State University.)
