The Under 18.3 Boys were able to avenge an earlier loss to Hawthorn to win the Tournament Grand Final, here is a report from the team.

The first game of the Tournament on Friday night the team lost to Hawthorn 2.

The boys were a little rusty after the summer holidays and needed to get working as a team again and having a couple of players a bit ill and another out injured didn't help.

But not happy with Fridays loss, they came back on Saturday and won all 3 games of the day qualifying them for the semi's on Sunday.

Winning the semi final on Sunday the boys came back that night to play in the Grand Final against the only team that beat them in the Tournament; Hawthorn 2, but this time of course they won!

It was a tiring but rewarding weekend and a  great way to get warmed up for the season ahead.

Thank you to all the families and coach Simon Burstin for devoting their long weekend in the stuffy, sweltering Stadiums for this enjoyable and successful event.
