Waverley Falcons 16.1 Boys
U16.1 boys lost their Qualifying Final and have thus been knocked out of this years final campaign.
It was a great effort to firstly make Victorian Championship and then qualify for finals, but injuries and illness conspired to prevent us from bridging the gap further.
Well done team on a great effort and thanks to Coach Anthony Dimis for a great year!
Waverley Falcons 16.5 Boys CLOSE AGAIN!
The 16.5 Boys have been knocked out of their Finals run by a very powerful Blackburn and too tall team. After comprehensively showing Ringwood the week before why Waverley had an unchallenged run of 11 weeks as ladder leaders, Blackburn's overall performance was too much for the 16.5 boys on the night.
The boys have much to be proud of however. The core of the group has been together for the past two seasons. In that time they lost only 7 regular season games and in each season finished as the best defensive team in their grade. This year giving away an average of only 26 points per game. They made finals in each season.
