Congratulations to the 12.1 Girls, through to the Grand Final of the VJL Division 1. This is the third consecutive Grand Final appearance for the under 12 girls, with coach Trevor De Jong and team member Louise Ching.
Just 3 weeks ago the girls were in 4th spot, playing to get the double chance. They have played great team basketball to secure 3 terrific wins and their spot in the Grand Final. Their win last week, over top team Southern Peninsula, went to extra time with a two point win to the Falcons.
Congratulations to Trevor for his commitment to the under 12 girls program, 3 grand finals in succession is a great effort and the result of hard work and many early Sunday mornings!
