Waverley Falcons U12 Girls Winners at Tigers Tournament!
Congratulations to both under 12 girls teams who played off against one another in the grand final of the Tigers tournament this weekend. The two teams, coached by Trevor De Jong and Brendon Gordan were the strongest in their division, playing good basketball and producing some good wins.
The 12.1 girls, Lou, Steph, Elise, Brittney, Mia, Em and Sophie, played good consistent team basketball all weekend and were very deserving of their grand final win 39 - 32. Thanks to Trevor for taking the girls to a tournament win and for his support of under 12 girls basketball at Waverley.
The girls are now looking forward to a good finish and finals berth in their Metro 1 division.
