We only won one game, however for us it was a time to experiment. We've struggled to play man-to-man so far this season and our conditioning needed a lot of work. I therefore decided to play the boys full court man-to-man every game no matter what the other team gave us on the day.

 

We played really well in the first half of games, however due mostly to fatigue and probably a lack of defensive efficiency we faded out during the second half of just about every game. The boys realize that man-to-man is a weakness and were willing to work on it during the tournament.

 

Their spirits remained high throughout the tournament. I'm hopeful this experience will help us in the games to come.
