The tournament started off great with a comfortable win first game. After our first game on friday night the boys were filled with confidence and continued on their winning streak for the next 3 games on Saturday beating Warrandyte 2 which had beaten us in grading before the tournament. The boys put the pressure on all the games playing full court man . 

 

The next game was against Eltham 5 on Sunday morning and we were down one tall player. The boys played well throughout the first half with the scores only one point the difference. Sadly Eltham got away in the second but we had made finals to play Eltham 5 again. 

 

Well the boys were tired and sore and still down one player but the boys once again kept up with Eltham whose only defence during both games was 2-3 zone. Once again scores were close at half time. Unfortunately the heat and all the other games got to the boys as Eltham got away again but i'm proud the boys didn't give up for one second.

 

This has been a great prepartion for grading and the season to come. We made it to the semis in style and if we come up against Eltham during the season they better watchout!
