The U/18.4 Boys Falcon Team had a very successful weekend tournament playing in B2 Division, the same grade as the U/18.2 Boys Team.
Unfortunately, they couldn’t quite get over the line and defeat the other 18’s team. They had it to within four points close to the end of the game, and ended up losing by 10 (25-35).
Missing our leading scorer we beat Camberwell 3 (35-15), Blackburn 2 (32-29), Oakleigh 1 (21-16) and lost to Keilor 3 (40-20: the worst game we've ever played).
Unfortunately, we just missed out on finals by percentage!
Thanks to Jerome Curwood for coaching on the bench over the weekend, to Lisa Savory (Team Manager) for organizing everything and to all of the very supportive parents! We played hard and smart and the boys took on the responsibility of coaching themselves with lots of communication! Well Done.
