16.2 Falcon Girls
Whilst the team finished out of Finals contention, a lot of positives came out of the Tournament. The girls continued to work hard sticking to the game structures which was proven by a great come from well behind effort against Whittlesea (1) to clinch a Draw. All games played were close including a nail biting finish against Kilsyth where a foul call on the final buzzer sent the Cobras to the line to seal a 2 point win.
Well done to all girls for their efforts during the Tournament which gives them confidence leading into Grading Phase 2 and the season proper. A big thank you to Team Manager Lisa Garnham and Assistant Coach Anthony Garnham for their contribution over the weekend and also to the parents of our wonderful players.
The team consisted of Ansley Alexander, Gabby Cannizzo, Jess Garnham, Georgia Holland, Tamara Ludekens, Mikaela Miller, Eliza Sabbatucci, Holly Sainsbery and Jane Thompson.
