Waverley Basketball Association apologizes to all their guests who arrived for the 6.40pm game slot last night in the VJBL.

Unfortunately the entire Ashwood and Chadstone area was without power, and after numerous phone calls and stress, we were told the delay could be up to four hours. 

At 6.30pm we had to cancel all 6.40pm games.  To all the players, parents, spectators, coaches and officials we are sorry. 

Fortunately, the power was restored at 7.05pm and the remainder of the evening games were played as scheduled.

We will be in contact with the VJBL as soon as possible to reschedule the four games effected and keep you informed.
