Cake Stall Eaten

The Under 18 Waverley Falcon Girls team Fund raising is well underway for their end of year travel to play basketball in America.  Last Saturday “sophisticakes of Melbourne” helped the girls organise a stall at Waverley Stadium, with with a donation of 300 of Melbourne’s most irresistible cupcakes.  This coincided perfectly with Mother’s Day, as the gorgeous yummy cupcakes were a huge hit and disappeared extremely quickly.

Enthusiastic shoppers of all ages were able to chose from a selection of ‘Pink Champagne’,  ‘Chocolate Raspberry’,  ‘Peppermint Twist’,  “Chocolate Brownie”, “Cookies & Cream”, “Chocolate Chip”, “Lemon Squeeze”, White Chocolate Raspberry”, “Perfectly Passion fruit”, “Berry, Berry Strawberry”, “Vanilla/Vanilla” and a selection of Gluten-Free cakes ... by 11am Saturday morning, the cupcakes were sold and the U-18 Girls were thrilled with another successful fundraising effort!

Thank you Barbara Dickinson from “sophisticakes of Melbourne” for the delicious cakes, the Under 18 girls for enthusiastically assembling, labelling, setting up and selling (without even a moment to enjoy one!) I know there were a lot of appreciative mums on Mothers Day who enjoyed a selection of cakes. We apologise for anybody missing out this time.  However, look out for the U’18 girls who will be organizing more fund raisers this year.
