Congratulations goes out to two of our u18 junior boys players Michael Harper & Jack Blackburn who were selected in the u18 VIC Metro state side for 2010.

In addition to this fantastic achievement for both players, Michael Harper was also announced as the team captain.

As the coach of these 2 boys for their bottom and top age u18 years, I could not be prouder of their achievements. Both Michael & Jack have provided exemplary attitude, work ethic, talent & commitment during their time under me at Waverley. Both boys were instrumental in our Victorian Championship  & National Classic Premierships in 2009 and now will look to continue on this trend for VIC Metro and Waverley u18 VC again in 2010.

This is a major achievement for Waverley as it is the first time in the u18 boys that we have had 2 players make state team in the same year and really is a testament to the player development processes that we are providing our junior & senior players to compete at the very highest level within the Country.

The Waverley community and myself wish these two boys the very best with their Basketball endeavours in 2010.
