The team had an up and down, and up again tournament culminating in a win in the grand final. After the first game we all thought the cobwebs of the holidays were blown out with a win at home against Camberwell. Well, I think the next day the girls were a bit shell shocked, loosing every game on Saturday. Nevertheless we were still in the finals after a win early Sunday morning had us finishing 3rd on the ladder.
Then to the finals, first a semi final against Burnie which was a hard fought intense game right to the last second which we won by a solitary point. Bring on the Grand Final!!! The girls showed what we knew they could do all tournament and put in an awesome display of dedication and team work to overcome Ringwood by 9 points.
