The team finished undefeated in their Pool working well together to record comprehensive wins over Camberwell, Ringwood and Nunawading. Top age players Tamara Ludekens, Holly Sainsbery, Alex Corry and Jess Garnham all showed continued maturity, working especially hard on the defensive side of their games. Jessica Harley, Ella Baxter and Natasha Contin also displayed sound fundamentals gained from their season last year with "Super Coach" Trevor deJong and Demi Kapes, Sami Stewart and the tall and athletic Rachel Merrigan rounded out the roster which saw the team finish with a percentage of 375.00%. Whilst there is still a lot of hard work to do, it was a very positive start to the season and I look forward to seeing further improvement as the season progresses.
