Dear Supporters, Coaches,
Players and Parents both past and present of the Waverley Falcons.
The Youth League Women have this year had a major turnaround, from third last to first, this season losing only two matches. As such the girls, under new Head Coach Paul Stirton, have made the Qualifying Final this weekend against Diamond Valley, who they have had some tight matches with already this season, Round 10 won by 16, Round 16 lost by 11.
The girls would like to thank all that have come to support them over the season and invite everyone down this weekend to support them as they begin their finals campaign.
The girls would also like to thank Mike Bullock for giving them the opportunity to play this season under Paul and hope that they can go all the way.
So get down to the Waverley Basketball Center this Saturday 1st August 2009 for a 6pm tip-off to see the Waverley Falcons Youth League Women take on the Diamond Valley Eagles as both teams fight for the right to host the Grand Final should these teams meet again.
