Our team played in the Nunawading tournament and had a successful weekend with some good wins and a couple of losses. Our first game on Saturday was against the Southern Tigers, who came out very strong in the first half and although we out scored them in the second, we lost the game by 10 points.
We won our next three games in convincing style, which put us into the semi final against Doncaster, a team who is in our Friday night pool. Unfortunately they were too strong for us on the night.
Our success on the weekend came not only from some good wins, but the tournament also proved to be a great training and team bonding exercise.
Thank you to the players, who all had some great games. Thank you also to our Coach Paul, the parents and to Aaron Bodin who filled in for the weekend.
