The U12 Waverley 2 boys enjoyed  4 early wins in the Eltham Australia Day tournament but fell to Camberwell in the last game .It was enough to play them again in the Semi Final and after a  tough tight game pulled ahead in the last few minutes  to win 20v15 .We lined up against the undefeated Werribee 2 in the Grand Final and the boys sprung out of the blocks for a early lead .This early lead had Werribee 2  on the back foot for the rest of the game and the boys took the Grand Final 29v14.We congratulate Coach  Jim Melrose ,James Meads ,Nick Herschell,Jonathan Tan ,Andrew Nott,James Wainwright ,Fraser Kennedy ,Edward Mackay,Fergus Smith ,Charlie Cormack and Team Manager Michael Wainwright for and outstanding tournament .
