"The Under 14 (2) Girl's Team enjoyed great success, both as a team and as individuals, during the Eltham/Dandenong Tournament.

With a 4 - 1 record, the girl's faced off against Camberwell in the Semi Final and recorded a 16 - 7 victory to claim a Grand Final berth against the undefeated Werribee. In a memorable final, the team was struggling 16 - 4 at the main break. It was a different story in the second half as the girls intensity lifted and we powered away to claim the title 30 - 24 before a packed Donvale Leisure Centre. Congratulations go to all girls for their efforts and especially to Tamara Ludekens who won the Grand Final MVP following a stunning game.

A big thankyou to all parents who assisted me throughout the weekend.
