The Australia Day Long Weekend was an exciting time for the Junior Falcons teams who entered the Eltham / Dandenong Tournament. We had 16 Boys teams and 8 Girls teams participating.

A special congratulation also goes out to the three Waverley players that won the ‘Most Determined Player Awards’ during the tournament.

A special mention goes out to the teams who all competed in A Grade competitions over the weekend.
U14 Girls - trying to qualify for Vic Championship finished with 2 wins - 3 loss record (Great Effort)
U16 Girls - trying to qualify for Vic Championship made semi finals (Well Done)
U14 Boys - trying to qualify for Vic Championship finished with 3 wins - 2 loss record just missing finals (another Great Effort)
U16 Boys - Very competitive in A-grade losing by the smallest margins in all their games. (Solid performance)
U18 Boys - Awesome achievement with 3 teams in A-Grade almost unheard of.
Team 18.1 - Unlucky in Overtime loss in their finals series against Sturt who easily took out the Final.
Team 18.2 - trying to qualify for Vic Championship getting wins (Great Effort)
Team 18.3 - Metro team mixing it up with top flight A-grade teams (another Great Effort)
