Sunday night competitions have been cancelled due to the extreme heat today, 28th January. 

Basketball Victoria heat policy, which is adopted by WBA and other associations, state games must be abanoned once the court temperature inside reaches 40 degrees.

For the health and safety of all of our players we have made the decision at midday on Sunday and apologise for the late notice and and inconvenience.  We feel that a decision made early is more beneficial than cancelling games once the evenings competitions have commenced.

Automatic emails and text messages have been circulated to all players in our database, however to ensure everyone is notified we request teams please circulate these messages as early as possible.
