The Under 12.3 Boys did a great job winning the Eltham-Dandenong Tournament, which for most (if not all) boys was there first rep tournament, as well as for coaches Emily and Donna. Thanks to Donna and Nicola for providing the below summary and photo.
At the end of the pool games the Falcons finished top of their ladder, with 1 lose and 1 draw.
The semi final results saw us come up against eltham who also had 1 lose and 1 draw in the pool. (The lose was against the Falcons in the last pool game so they were pretty keen to right the score card Sunday afternoon).
The half time score confirmed this with eltham up by 7 points. However 1/2 way through the second half the falcons started to turn the game around.
Every player in this team improved over the course of the tournament, with each and every one giving everything they had playing as a team, deserving to eventually win by 6 points 34-28.
