While the current VJBL season approaches the business end, preperations are already underway for a big year in 2016-17.

Anyone who is interested in getting involved in coaching for 2016-17 is invited to contact Coaching Director Elias Palioyiannis.

The Waverley Falcons are an innovative and exciting representative program which offers young players from Under 12 to Under 20 the opportunity to train and play in an elite environment.

Games are played around Melbourne (and occasionally rural Victoria) on Friday Nights. Teams train on Sunday mornings with some teams also training midweek.

This season the Falcons qualified five teams for the Victorian Championship, the highest level of junior basketball in the state, while many other teams have enjoyed great challenges on development throughout the many levels of the VJBL.

Try-outs will commence in early October ahead of the beginning of grading phase one.
