Under 16 Boys Easter Champions

An Under 16 Boys team made up of a core of players from the 16.3 Falcons team with some special guests and coached by Mark Handley went across to Adelaide and had a successful weekend. The Falcons took a great Australian bite out of the opposition, they didn't Stawell at all over the weekend, nor-wood they drop a game on their way to a 7-Nhill record.*

Mark provided this recap of the successful weekend:

The Waverley Falcons 16.3 (Ben Richter, Spencer Walters, Charlie Orr, Lucas Handley and Gilad Case) and Pat Balden (16.1), Bill Sharp (16.2), Lachlan Rankin (16.4) and Zac Cripps (Ashy Vipers). All travelled to Adelaide for the Easter Classic as the Waverley Falcons. With great support from the families in Kelly Rankin, David Cass (Team manager and social media manager), Adam Cripps (BBQ King), Mitch Walters and Darren Richter.

A very proud coach, saw the boys come together, learn the plays, have a heap of fun, but most importantly improve every game, with their best game being the grand final against the also undefeated Craigburn 2. In the grand final even with a close game, the boys always looked calm and in control.
