DUE to safety concerns surrounding Melbourne’s extreme weather conditions on Friday 1 December, MUVJBL has taken the precaution of cancelling tonight’s round.

MUVJBL – FRIDAY 1 DECEMBER ROUND CANCELLED DUE TO MELBOURNE’S EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS

Melbourne United Victorian Junior Basketball League (MUVJBL) has made the decision to cancel all matches in tonight’s (Friday 1 December) schedule due to the extreme weather conditions and the risk associated with travelling to various venues across Victoria.

The health and safety of our 12,500 players as well as coaches, staff members and families remain our primary reason for cancelling this round.

The league has taken into account severe weather warnings from the Bureau of Meteorology when making its decision and wants to put the safety of everyone involved in our league first.

All MUVJBL Grading Round Two matches will be rescheduled and must be played before midnight Sunday 10 December.
