Junior Falcons

Falcons hit the peninsula
28/11/2017

While the Mornington Peninsula may be best known for its beaches, hot springs and apparently relentless party houses, the Falcons made their mark down on Melbourne's wing on the weekend at the annual Southern Peninsular tournament.

The biggest ever contingent of Falcons teams made the hike down Peninsula Link with one thing on their mind (well, two things if you count the point-to-point cameras on the freeway), getting in top shape for the current VJBL grading phase. For the most part, it proved a highly successful venture.

Among the best performing Falcons teams were the Premiership wimming Under 12.2 Boys and Under 18.4 Boys, and the runner-up Under 12.1 Girls. A number of other teams made it through the weekend with just one loss.

There will be little time to rest the weary legs as grading continues this Friday, with all junior Falcons teams in action once again.
